B-17G 42-97854

This was the B-17G that ditched on 4/9/44 in Graah Fjord, Greenland. According to sources, this B-17 was located in 1999 in 700 feet of water but was not recovered due to exhausted resources. Why has no one gone back since? I understand that it takes a lot of money, but they were prepared the first time around to recover it. Any plans on going back?

Does anyone know if Gary Larkins is ever going to re-visit this crash site that they supposedly found in 1999?
