3rd Party Hosting

Post by 05564 »

Scott, I seem to have a problem seeing some of the Great photos on here. Sometimes all I see Is " Please Update your Account to enable 3rd Party Hosting." Then if I click on it, it goes to "Photobucket". WHY?????

Photobucket did this a while back. They are wanting money from the people who upload photos in order to keep the photos viewable. It's not just this forum that's been affected, many others are in the same boat.............

Thanks, I first thought it was something I did. Now I know it wasn't me. It's a shame, greed has to show it's ugly head.

I can't answer that question at this point. I expect to have to log in to see the photos but have not noticed if any appear without logging in. Short answer...it might be in the phpBB script somewhere that makes the distinction but I am not familiar. Perhaps someone more familiar can provide an answer.
