Went through the Goshen High School yearbooks from 1945 to 1958, and found only one shot of the Wildcat - this photo of the Auto Mechanics class in 1948: Also don't forget Yale University had B-17D 40-3092.

I was going through my .doc file copy of David Osborne's book B-17 FORTRESS MASTER LOG and noticed this listing for the first B-17C built: RB-17C 40-2042 Del Air Force 21/7/40, the first such service flight, but then sent back to Boeing for two years, before returning to AF. Del Lockbourn (e) , OH, ...

Also, H 59 was 42-97613 per a pilot report mistakenly left with the papers in 42-102875 (also from squadron C-3).

For H 87 add Squadron C-3.

AAIR shows it as a landing accident ground collision (with an odd double listing): Any photos of 42-6154 there? I don't think you had H 62 on your list before now, correct?
