In my humble opinion, I think it might be B-17E 41-2467 being utilized as an airframe trainer at Amarillo AAF. Haven't heard or seen from Hang the Expense in a couple of years on here. Is he too busy building B-17 parts?I miss his updates and posts.

Is this turret dome you built a few years back the same one that the Movie Memphis Belle is now sporting? Looks to be same/correct type A-1A for early B-17F.

Also, haven't heard from you on here in forever. What's cookin' in your shop?

It would be neat to know what the serial number of the B-17E being built was. Those early "E" forts had such a history...
