That's great news! I wonder where it will be stationed in the U.S. and if there is a buyer yet. I am also wondering if this will be a flyer or not. With all of these B-17E restorations lately, it would be great to see a B-17C or D in the works

Hopefully you all don't get burned again Bill. If I had an inventory of B-17 parts, I would be giving them away to any B-17 resto group that needed them. I would do all I could to help another Fortress be added to the flying list.

Dave, could you post some pictures of your most recent cockpit work?

I had contacted Offut AFB to see if I could get inside of it this past spring and was promptly turned down. As far as getting pictures of the outside, that should not be a problem since it is sitting out there for all to see.
