Third picture location is Lajes Field, Azores. Know it well from numerous RON's spent their from 1981-1999 while crewing on Pa. Air Guard EC-130E's.

Was surprised and thankful to see the ex "Mary Alice" B-17 at the American Air Museum, Duxford is sporting 96th Bomb Gp. tail markings as my uncle John (KIA)...

Any chance of a B-17/B-25 news update in the near future? We know there's not always a fresh flow of news on these aircraft just the same any news would be welcome. I know I join many others in always looking forward to the updates with hungry anticipation. Thanks for all the great work you do.

Thanks for sharing. I saw her the summer of 1974 while heading back to Little Rock AFB from home up in Pa. She looks a little better in the picture. I wanted to get a picture myself however thought better of stopping owing to several factors.

Scott, Great to see the updates and always look forward to reading them. I know it takes a lot of work on your part and sometimes there is not a great deal to post however keep them coming with what you receive hear, etc.

Now part of the Kermit Weeks collection in unrestored condition. Would be great to see her and FiFi flying formation in the future! Of course you could say that about many aircraft awaiting restoration.
