| B-17G N7227C has enjoyed a long and fruitful career. Delivered in 1945 to the U.S. Navy for use as a PB-1W, it continued in service until 1955. After being sold surplus, it was utilized for a decade as an aerial survey platform. The CAF obtained the airplane in 1967 and has operated the airplane ever since.
