Catch-22 TB-25N 44-30077 (N2849G)


Pristine on the ramp at Orange County Airport in late December 1969 is N2849G, along with sixteen other Catch-22 B-25s ready to go to Mexico. (Phillips via AAHS)
The studio artists weathered the airplanes and finished the markings once they arrived in Mexico. N2849G became Denver Dumper and carried the tail code of 6Q for the film. (Chris Brame screencapture)

After the filming was completed, Denver Dumper back at Orange County awaiting disposal.
After bouncing around for four decades, major parts of the airframe were incorporated into the "mock" B-25B put together for the Pacific Air Museum at Hickam AFB, Hawaii, in 2006. (Carl Scholl)
