| This B-17F crashed near Ruby, Alaska, in 1943. In August 1995 Gary Larkins recovered the airframe from the remote location. The fuselage was sent to the Tillamook Air Museum for eventual use in the restoration of B-17E 41-9032 and is currently stored. The wings are reportedly in storage at Fairbanks, Alaska.
